ANIMAL
HUSBANDRY:
The livestock population in the constituency area is not so high, however
the cattles, pigs, poultry are reared for milk and meat. The milk are sold
in Cooperative Milk unions and pigs, goats, poultry are sold to the local
bazaars and towns to meet the demands of meat in the towns and sub-towns
population. The grazing of the cattle’s in the Reserve Forests and the
project area is traditional and the yield in terms of the milk and it’s by
products is poor. The government has banned cattle grazing in Reserve
Forests in South and West District for preservation and conservation of
forest and forest resources and environment for balancing ecological
balances.
