A release informs that the Mountain Bikers will have to race over 30Kms of mettalled and un-metalled roads and 13Kms of a route especially constructed for mountain bikes, passing through looming alpine forest up to an altitude of 2,700 meteres to reach Sammatar in the Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary.

The Championship is open to all and the participants will be provided a 9Kms un-metalled stretch along with the mountain bike route mentioned above as a training site. The championship is being organised by the Hee Bermiok Tourism Development & Heritage Conservation Society in co-partnership with Nepal Mountain Bike Tours.
