Awarded the National Tamra Patra by the President of India in 1984 for the development of Limboo Script in Type Phase.

Author of Limboo Primer published in 1984-85.

Present Political Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sikkim.

(a) Elected Member of Legislative Assembly from 5-Hee Bermiok Constituency in 1985. Was Chairman, Sikkim Flour Mills and STCS and Chief Whip for 5 years.

(b) Re-elected as MLA from the same above constituency in 1989 and served as Minister, Power and Labour up to 171h May 1974. In the subsequent Congress Government again. assumed charge as Minister, Agriculture and Horticulture and Co-operation.

4 Literature:

(a) Published in 1964, a poem entitled 'Hariyo Ban' in Pelling School Annual Magazine.

(b) 1966 "Tee Atit Ka Choita Haru" a short story published in a literary magazine called "Dhuan" from Darjeeling.

( c ) During 1968 -69 an essay, entitled "Meri Mayalu Lai Patra " was published in a Gangtok magazine called 'Kanchenjunga ' .

(d) 1976- 78 Was Co -Editor of a literary magazine called 'Srasta' published from Geyzing and was awarded the first prize in an essay on Bhanu Bhakta entitled "Bhanu Lai Aankhijhyal Bata Chiyauanda" during Bhanu Jayanti celebration at Geyzing.

(c) Published a historical book with the title "Rajnaitik Bhuwanri Bhitra Sikkim Limbu ra Tamang" in 1999.

(f) Published a collection of poems " Chahieko Chha Malai Chhor-Rawan Justo" in 2001.

(g) Published a collected work on "Biswabhari Chhariyera Baseka Limbu ra Tamang Jati KaThan Haru".

(h) Brought out two hand books highlighting the political rights and associated poems and hand out on Limbu and Tamang community in 2004.

(i) In the press Original research work on "Lengsi Sirijunga Sambhjandit Detya Kathaharu"

(j) Appointed patron to "Nawa Jyoti" a Nepali literary magazine published from Hee Goan, West Sikkim.

 5 Social Life.

(a) Struggling for the rights of ethnic Limbu and Tamangs w.e.f. 26th August 1993 and under the banner of "Sikkim Limbu Action Committee for Tribal Status" as its President since 2002.

(b) Constitution of "Sikkim Limbu Tamang Joint Action Committee" in November

2002 and elected as its President overwhelmingly, Launching a struggle for the political rights of Limbu and Tamangs currently.

(c) Dissolution of "'Sikkim Limbu Tamang Joint Action Committee" and formation of "Sikkim Limbu Tribal Forum". Got nominated as its President and fighting for the rights ' of these two tribal Communities.

Party candidate in the 2004 general election, this time from Hee-Bermiok constituency. At present holds the post of, Chairman, Denzong Agricultural Co-operative Society.
